ROLE SUMMARY:

The Supply Chain Manager will report to our Chief of Staff and Director of Finance and Operations. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our portfolio of D2C brands. You will be responsible for managing the Sunday II Sunday, I LOVE THIS BOD and upcoming portfolio of Skin Health brands supply chain process and logistics activities including but not limited to, managing relationships and coordinating product order and re-orders contract manufacturers, purchase order management, on-time delivery to customers, inventory management, supply chain management and customs compliance by using your vision and experience to provide a first-class supply chain experience.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists in the continual development of appropriate supply chain strategy for Sunday II Sunday, I LOVE THIS BOD and upcoming portfolio of brands to maximize customer satisfaction at the lowest possible cost. This includes finding and sourcing new contract manufacturers to deliver lowest COGS and shortest lead times at the highest quality.

Coordinates US, Canadian, Mexico and future Central and South American supply chain functions through strategy, resource optimization, profitability maximization, and KPIs resulting in the maximization of customer satisfaction.
Works with freight forwarders and transportation companies to set best route and rate (reviews and submits all freight terms and agreements for approval).

Collaborates with contract manufacturers and portfolio Chief of Staff to determine best practice for scheduling freight in and freight consolidation. Member of the Supply Chain staff, responsible to routinely report on department KPIs along with appropriate analysis and countermeasures where necessary. Determines most cost-effective distribution solution for finished goods transportation to brand retail partners. Ensures highest level of sales order through-put and fill-rate KPI’s are met or exceeded.Works directly with Brand Managers to ensure order processing KPI’s are met, inventory levels are adequate and communicates as necessary to the contract manufacturers and 3PL warehouse on product deliveries and launches.

Teams up with Finance Director to review suggested purchase orders to be placed with our contract manufactures. Place the orders and follow-up until completely received at our 3PL warehouse or other designated delivery point. Monitors in transit inventory and ensures the receipts at our 3PL are credited properly in our computer system. Ensures our 3PL warehouse receiving manager is fully aware of our inbound freight ETA and has all the documents to receive properly. Take immediate and appropriate action on any discrepancies. Maintain all brand inventory levels and master items. Ensure items are correctly setup and timely in respective catalogs. Reviews and approves all freight charges and submits to our Finance A/P for timely processing.


QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, or equivalent experience.

5+ years of supply chain, contract manufacturing management, logistics, or warehouse management experience.

The successful applicant will have a proven track-record of process improvement and measurable wins within a supply chain leadership role for a fast-paced, sizable company.

Mastery using Excel including (VLOOKUP, Pivot / other functions)They will demonstrate an obvious ability to influence and drive outcomes by engaging stakeholders in a persuasive and personable manner.

With a commitment to best practice and change management, they should be technically capable, working within the planning arena. Must be able to devise, implement and deliver projects within scope by efficient management of resource.

A collaborative partner and an effective communicator who is highly attuned to achieve commercial wins underpinned by your technical forecasting and planning skills. A high level of integrity and ability to enforce standards while handling sensitive matters in a timely and constructive manner.

Well-poised and exhibit strong communications skills interacting with all levels of the executive & leadership teams. Quick learner with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain focus, and adapt to a variety of challenges. Ability to conduct detailed procedures in a time constrained environment. Good written and verbal communication skills. Strong sense of time organization and urgency. Able to work independently and within a team.

Experience with D2C and consumer brands in the health and beauty space is a huge bonus.
